When you buy any large appliance or air conditioning unit from us, our installation experts will deliver and install your brand new appliance at your place of residence. Speak to our staff when you pay for your items in-store and they will help you book a delivery and installation.
To speed up the installation, please make sure you have all the right connection points ready and there is nothing blocking access to the location. Please follow the tips below:
Stove
Electricity: the majority of stoves use electricity to power the timer, light and ignition. For your stove to work properly please make sure you have an electricity plug nearby.
Gas: the stoves we sell have different connection heights, it’s recommended you measure how high your gas connections points are and if necessary align these to the new appliance points.
Refrigerator
Electricity: all refrigerating units we sell work on 110 volt.
Water: if the refrigerator has an icemaker then you will need to have a water connection installed nearby. After the stop tap or faucet, you’ll need a water reducer and a quarter inch copper pipe all the way to the refrigerator.
Washer / Dishwasher
Electricity: all washing units we sell work on 110 volt.
Water: after the stop tap or faucet, you need to install a connector to link cold and hot water to your appliance.
Drainage: the washer will need a drain pipe to get rid of the dirt from the washing cycles.
Dryer
Electricity: if it’s a gas dryer then only a 110 volt connection will be sufficient. If it’s an electric dryer then you’ll need a 220 volt connection.
Gas: if it’s a gas dryer, the gas connection needs to be installed. If there is no gas connection then the technician won’t be able to adjust and calibrate the dryer during installation. This will create additional costs for you as the technician will need to visit your place of residence on another occasion. Remember your dryer will need an outlet for hot air.
Air conditioning
Window Unit
Please double check if your new air conditioning unit works on either 110 or 220 volts. The correct voltage will show on the side of the unit.
Window frame measurements: Our delivery staff can install the unit only if the window measurements are correct so please ensure you know these before the technician’s visit.
Split Unit
Please double check if your new air conditioning unit works on either 110 or 220 volts. The correct voltage will show on the side of the unit.
You need to have a 220 volts switch near where the outdoor unit will be placed.
If the Indoor unit to outdoor unit distance is more than 3 meters or if the split unit is higher than 24000 BTU we will have to do an assessment.
